So now Southwest Airlines, the biggest U.S. carrier by market value, is to face a record $10.2 million fine proposed by the Federal Aviation Administration for allegedly failing to inspect planes for structural cracks.
FAA said Southwest continued to fly uninspected aircraft even after the carrier notified the agency that it had missed a mandatory deadline to complete the work.
Sounds scary. Think again when you are planning to book a ticket of Southwest. Link
